Through his important role as artistic director in a company that produces themed polystyrene decorations (among the few such companies in Romania), he has had the opportunity to experiment on a large scale with new materials and methods of artistic expression.

Ioan Mureșan's style is in constant metamorphosis, gracefully oscillating between figurative and expressionism, enriched by contemporary influences such as those of Damien Hirst. Experimenting with painting techniques such as splashing, dripping and finely diluted glazes, Mureșan creates breathing textures that capture light and amplify the intensity of captured emotions.
